You could have the best time with your children making priceless memories in this wonderland. E-World will also bring you back to your childhood. Enjoy all the attractions and feel your stress sail away on the roller coasters. Then move to 83 Tower’s observatory and take a view of Daegu. There are more things to enjoy such as the Magic Art Show, an ice rink, and the Kids’ Playground section.
E-World (formerly known as Wooband Tower Land) is a theme park built around 83 Tower, that was built in the fall of 1987. The area around the tower was remodeled as a European-style park and re-opened to the public in March 1995. E-World has several plazas, each with different themes; major plazas include Entry Plaza (at the park entrance), Central Plaza, Children’s Plaza (playground), and Young Town Plaza. The park has a haunted mansion, two roller coasters, an Aladdin-themed fun house, and more attractions to ride on.
With the beautiful trees lining up the streets near Duryu Park, E-world is the place to be even on a summer weeknight. At 5 pm, you can even get the evening admission. There are few people around, mostly couples and high school students passing the time. So if you ever need a break from the mundane work week, head down to E-world and enjoy the warm summer night!

Nestled just behind E-world Daegu’s theme park is the 83 tower. If you are looking for something different to do other than spend your day and night downtown the 83 Tower is the place to consider. Over and above the fact that it is right by an amusement park the tower has enough activities to keep you busy for a whole day in itself.
-1st Floor and 2nd floor : Ashely’s butter, Ice Rink and Euroseum
What does 83 Tower have to offer? On the first floor of the tower is an Ashley’s buffet which is the perfect way to end an adrenaline and sugar filled day at E-world.
The second floor of the tower boasts a beautiful ice rink decorated as a winter wonderland. This is the perfect place to start a date or just have fun with your friends. If you are lucky enough to have a day or evening off during the week you could possibly have the whole beautiful rink to yourself barring a few very cute future Yuna Kim’s practicing their ice skating. If you have a day pass for E-world the fee is only 3000won to hire a helmet and ice skates. Without a pass it costs 7000woon for the gear but you can skate for as long as you like.
After a little ice skating the next stop would be the Euroseum also located on the second floor. Euroseum is very similar to Seoul’s Trick Eye Art Museum. Get ready to put your creativity to the test and have fun with innovative 3D artworks and optical illusions. Here you can get some creative pictures being chased by dinosaurs or eaten by a fish which is the perfect way to set the tone for a fun date.
-Third Floor : Foodpolitan
If food is what you are into than look no further than the 83 Towers Foodpolitan, World Gourmet Food Museum. Based on the third floor Foodpolitan is a food court parading foods from around the world including Korean, Western, Asian and Fusion foods. After a hearty lunch or dinner you can drink some wine at the ‘Wine Castle’ section or try different beers at the 83 tower pub. The whole food court has been decorated in various themes based on the foods from different countries and makes you feel like you are in a theme park just for food. Therefore, unlike other food courts this has been designed to keep you there to eat and drink and be entertained for a number of hours.
-Fourth Floor : Sky Garden
Before you have even entered the tower itself you can enjoy an already spectacular view of Daegu from the tower’s Sky Garden located on the Fourth floor. This is the ideal place to enjoy the sunset with a cup of coffee or a cocktail before making your way up the tower to enjoy the city scape from a bird’s eye. The Sky Garden is has been elegantly designed and if you are lucky enough you can even enjoy an outdoor show on the immaculate stage.
-77th Floor and 78th floor : Observatory, Sky Jump and 83 Grill by Ashley
The 77th floor of the tower is the observatory where you can walk around and enjoy a 360 degree view of Daegu. However, if looking down from such a height is not enough for you, you can get an adrenaline fix by jumping off the Sky Jump. The 77th floor is not for the faint of heart nevertheless, if the heart is what you are hoping to entertain without flat lining first the 78th floor is the place to be. The Steak house, 83 Grill by Ashley is the perfect place to swoon a loved one or celebrate a special occasion. This revolving restaurant can most certainly claim to have the best view of the city as well as a wonderful exclusive fine dining experience.
Regardless of what you are looking for whether it be adrenaline, romance or just a fun day trip the 83 Tower and E-Land are must see for all Daegunites and visitors alike.
E-land is a 5 min walk from Duryu Station (Daegu Subway Line 2) exit 15. To get to 83 Tower; you can go through the park if you are planning on seeing E world first. However, if you want to go directly to the tower I would recommend taking a taxi from the subway station which will drive you up and around Eworld dropping you right in front of the entrance to the tower. The walk up to the tower is about 10-15 min but not recommended if you have high heels and fancy clothes.
