The Daegu Exhibition & Convention Center (EXCO) is a grand venue for holding large exhibitions, conventions, and international and domestic conferences, with five stories above ground and four stories underground. Since being remodeled in 2011, it now has a 22,159㎡ exhibition space, a 3,872㎡ convention hall, a 1,581㎡ auditorium with state-of-the-art facilities, and 34 conference rooms covering a total of 5,771㎡. With a total of 29,511㎡ of exhibition and convention space, it can hold three large exhibitions or two large conventions simultaneously, making it one of the best convention centers in the world.

It represents the determination and unified vision of Kyungpook National University to stand tall as a world-centered university in the global era.The plaza is equipped with an auditorium, a 520-seat multi-purpose convention hall and a 200-seat international conference hall with two rooms, as well as small, medium, and large seminar rooms for various domestic and international academic conferences, seminars, workshops, and professional education. In addition, it has state-of-the-art facilities including Korean and Western restaurants that can accommodate 300 seats, and a parking lot for 278 cars.The plaza is located near the airport and Dongdaegu train station, and offers access to a large parking area in the university, allowing it to be used for various events, such as large academic conferences, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions. On weekends, it serves the local community by hosting weddings and performances.

Daegu is known as the capital of Korean education and the museum dedicated to its history is housed in a converted elementary school. In addition to exhibits of artifacts and an archive of some 20,000 historical documents, the museum also has a VR (virtual reality) experience zone and photo zone so visitors can see and experience the history of Korean education.

Across the street from the museum, the market is the best place to find regional specialties. It includes a local mart that offers artisanal drinks and foods as well as unique products made in the area.
